They're not terribly painful yet, but painful nonetheless... Wonder what kind of pain the universe has still in stock for me... :

This definitely seems to be it... I'll keep you updated. Wish me luck!
ELV to you mama!!

yay franjapany! ELVs to you!!!

I apparently have to be over 39 weeks to get nesting instincts. I never got them with DD1 (in fact my house was a DISASTER when we brought her home, I mean, I was embaressed to have family members see it ), and with Libby, I've kept the house clean-ish but really only because I don't want my MW to think I have a gross house. Well, I went in the kitchen to make some juice today and a few hours later I have VERY clean countertops, stove, microwave, cabinets, garbage can....you get the idea! I was cleaning spots off the WALLS. I still have a lot to do in that kitchen though, the floor needs some SERIOUS scrubbing.....
This may not seem like a lot to you, but I am not a cleaner-type. Usually the kitchen is left to DH and I clean the other rooms that require tasks like folding/putting away clothes, putting away toys, you get the idea. So for me to be on my hands and knees scrubbing tiny spots off my kitchen cabinets is certainly nesting
DH and DD are coming home in about 2-3 hours and I hope to have finished scrubbing down the fridge and tackle the front door that is covered with crayon marks. And at least sweep the kitchen, since I know I won't be happy with a simple mopping and will need to scrub it on hands and knees....and that will take longer than I have!

39 weeks +1

OMG, (TMI alert) I just wiped a huge glob of gelatinous goo. Was that my mucus plug?? I've never had that happen before or at least never noticed it and I'm not sure what one looks like. I am franticly trying to get my bag packed because it doesn't look like it's going to pack itself.

: to all who want them. I'm still sending them away because I just have too much to do - my house is a wreck, at least Dr. Jerk isn't on call anymore.

I bought some flowers to plant last night and when DH found out he just looked at me like I had lost all my marbles.

41 wks 5ds
The suspence of me being overdue seems to be killing my family. I think I am going to stop answering phones and emails for a little while now. They tell me my due date was probably inaccurate because I have been seeing a midwife and haven't had an ultrasound. My due date was based on my LMP AND the date I conceived (yeah I actually know that info). It can't have anything to do with my body just cooks babies longer though. Nevermind that I went 2 weeks and 5 days over with my first pregnancy and I had an ob and ultrasound then.

Didn't sleep well last night. Started to crochet with some scrap yarn to give my hands something to do and ended up making a whole sweater in less than 2 hours. That isn't so bad though. About a month ago I had a night I couldn't sleep and made an entire blanket with a matching hat and booties. I have so many things crocheted for this baby, I never really considered until recently that I am making newborn sweaters and hats for a JUNE baby. Oh well.

Franziska- ELV to you!!!

39+2
No real changes here, except I did lose a big blob of mucous yesterday. At least something is going on. Other than that, I'm tired. We went to the market this morning, went swimming, to the library, coffee shop, and I didn't even start on my cleaning!!! I probably should take a nap while ds is napping and then maybe do something around here.

I hope everyone's enjoying their Saturday!

June 22. over here. I've been having regular cx for 4 1/2 hours now. Quite intense, definitely painful but manageable more or less every 5 minutes. Not super regular though (some 3 minutes apart, some 7).

Just got into the tub for a bit which was really nice, but seemed to slow things down a bit, so now off for a walk with DP. The sun has just come up and the birds are chirping their morning serenade (accompanied by roosters and howling dogs in the distance).

I'm off for now (also another cx is coming up) but will keep you updated, as long as I can.

franjapany ELV to you. Keep us posted. And congrats to all those who are losing/lost mucous plugs. 39w4d and still nothing here. Last night was the first night I went to sleep hoping not to go in labor. I'm taking the weekend off from focusing on how to get this baby out of me and am making plans to actually do things instead. Feels good and I'm hoping I can keep it up until the baby decides to arrive. I think I'm much more pleasant.

I'm looking forward to yummy dinner and nice date night out w/ dh while ds has some time at grandma & grandpa's.
