For those who use bottles

I found these today and they look really cool. Obviously they arnt the greatest nipple-wise for a breastfeeder, but they are glass and I love the silicone sleeve on them-so cute and colorful and have the added bonus of helping to prevent breaking. Anyway, I thought I'd share http://www.gobabylife.com/products/weegobottle.html

They are also coming out with a 4oz size and replacement bottles, nipples, etc.

Those are cool! Actually, one of the breastfeeding-friendly docs (can't remember which one), suggests "regular" nipples for supplementing and holding the bottle straight out in front of baby instead of semi-upright. Long story...but I remember that he specifically said no wide-mouth nips...

Interesting. I always noticed the hospitals use regular nipples and even Medela has nipples that are more like the typical ones. I dont really care which one he uses as long as A.) he likes it and B.) it doesnt make him have a bad latch. I used Playtex disposibles with my first but with the old natural action nipples, the latex? Anyway, the LC had told me to throw them away and use Avent and my son HATED Avent-he gagged on the nipples!

Apparently taking into account your own nipple shape is just unacceptable I had flat/inverted nipples and they were, and are, really tiny. I think for him, that little nipple was more like mine Hmmm...maybe thats why I still get horribly sore nipples for awhile-their latch is fine but my nipples are so tiny they just get tore up. Who knows.
