I have no idea, but I need to decide soon! DH was all set to get a vasectomy, but I freaked out. I might want one more.

IUD without question.

For those of you considering the mini-pill, if you are breastfeeding please please please reconsider. I know a lot of folks in the medical profession swear that the mini-pill will not affect breastfeeding and/or milk supply, but in my experience as a breastfeeding counselor, I have counseled countless women who did expereince serious issues due to the mini-pill. Not worth the risk, IMO.

Mirena IUD - I'm done
This is something we'll need to deal with very soon as I have gotten my cycle back after both previous births at 4 months pp. And that's with exclusive breastfeeding on demand, no pacifiers, cosleeping.... Sucks to be me huh!

Dh is ready for a vasectomy but I have to admit, I am not ready to say we're done yet. I also have concerns about the long term effect of a vasectomy, some men have problems.

I've used natural family planning before with great success.

What is CM? It is probably something totally obvious, but I will claim hormone brains!

We are against anything that could cause a fertilized egg to be aborted so no pill, IUD, plus I can't handle the pill, I become someone else

We always used condoms or just pulled out....Worked great for us!

Condoms at the moment until I can get in to get the NuvaRing. Anyone know how soon you can start using that? Then dh is getting a vasectomy ASAP.
as far as I know you can do NuvaRing after 6 weeks pp as long as everything looks normal down there. I hope to be getting mine come next week (6 weeks).

Ditto. Ditto. Ditto.

I know DD is at the peak of fussiness and going through a growth spurt as she is about 6 weeks, but really truly, I cannot imagine ever doing this again. I know I sound awful ... but I am so not a newborn person. I wish I could birth a 3 month old.

This shall pass ... this shall pass ... this shall pass.

I adore newborns and I could give birth many many more times. It's neat how we are all so different.

Used to be in this ddc, but lost that precious babe. So.... our first 5, After having done the pill, IUD, condoms, FAM, spermacide, and a vasectomy - then adopting 5 more... we are doing NOTHING. Quit all birth control (and had dh's vas reversed 9 years ago) Ahhh - what FREEDOM! What a joy it is when I am expecting again.. No plastic, rubber, copper, hormones, inturruptions, or gooey stuff. Dh is in less pain (vas was horrible!!) I love it!

After my 8th baby I had scheduled to get my tubes ties, but the day of the surgery I cancelled. I didn't want to do a surgery if there was not a medical reason to. Since I had a c section this time around I figured since they were already in I should do the tubal. I am postive that I am done having children.

I love being pregnant and birthing. I would be thrilled to birth every year! It's the newborn thing that I do not like. I know it will go fast once it's over, but day to day is so tough for me!

It's amazing, though. She had her 6 week growth spurt yesterday and she really looks so much bigger and fuller today. And she has made life a lot easier today as she is back to her sweet disposition, vs. yesterday where she was hungry, unhappy or both.

I've been on it before when nursing and it didn't effect my supply. (Not questioning you, just saying for me that hasn't been the case.) I actually wish it DID work that way for me because I'm trying desperately to get my supply to go down... so far, no luck. *sob*
