Nursing pads, mama pads, etc

Thread Starter
My daughter is having a baby in a few months. I would like to make some things for her like nursing pads, mama pads, of course longies (December baby), a blanket, and etc.

So I'd better get going, eh?

I have some organic cotton, and some wool (purewool, HPY mostly). Also some unknown that seems to be cotton/rayon. What should I use for what items? I know the answer for the longies of course

I would use a really soft wool for the mama stuff. The HPY bulky merino is soft enough but it makes a thick pad. I made some nursing pads out of the HPY and then felted it.
