This can't be true. This just opens the door for the "extended nursing is sexual" crap.

The only time I've heard of a 25yo nursing is if the 25yo is the one lactating! (Or the 25yo is the partner of the lactating mom- in which case it most certainly IS sexual!)

There's nothing wrong with sexual breast play among adult partners, even during lactation. But that's completely separate from the mother-child relationship!

Well, breastfeeding can certainly be sexual at times. It definitely can get the hormones flowing. It makes me sad that breastfeeding being sexual is problematic however. Most other body parts can be very sexual, especially mouths, hands, and feet. Society has no hangup about showing and using these body parts in sexual ways and then seeing them in public.....very weird incongruency.

IMO, most people don't want to associate sexual feelings with their children in any way, shape or form.
Breastfeeding, at least to me, is not sexual.

that caller is so full of it, People will say anything on air. or maybe mom needs therapy. I guess different parent/child relationships do exist.

for the NAKers she was weaned at 2.5 went back to suckle (her mom wasn't lactating) at 7, 13, 17 then at 25 (thats all she mentions) because she was distressed about getting married.

The way that she was saying it it seems like it could be very real. She was not sexually active the last time she nursed and said that it was not sexual for her just a comfort thing. Not something I would be comfortable with but I don't feel that people have the right to judge that.

I have to say that I think this caller was fake....5years old I would have believed, 7 even, but 13 or 25? No.....don't believe it.
