does sea salt contain iodine?

Just wondering this as we have switched to sea salt for cooking and table use, and eat very little processed food. I'm not sure I need to worry about iodine or not (we don't eat seafood, ds is allergic)

I have Real Salt I got at whole foods, and another one (Pacific sea salt from new Zealand) that has an assay containing only salt, calcium, iron, sulphate, and copper.

Does anyone know if sea salt naturally contains sufficient iodine?

Thanks!

Iodine is added to table salt, it doesn't contain it naturally. Unless the package states that iodine was added, sea salt does not contain it. At least this is how it was explained to me. There are many other sources of iodine besides salt if it is a big concern for you and your family.
