Belly Pics - Page 3

I'm so jealous of all you tiny women! I swear I'm going to lose 100lbs before #3 gets here so that I can have a pretty belly like that!

DS was born (pre-eclampsia induction) at 35 weeks 5 days and the nurses were freaking out b/c they kept saying I couldn't be more than 24-25 weeks. Yeah, sorry, I was fat before the baby got here, so he just took up all the room that was already there. I had a lady at my work as if I was still pregnant less than a month before DS was born. (Granted, I have a history of m/c, so she wasn't saying it in an idiotic way like "Oh, did you have the baby yet?" but still...a month before he was born!) Oh, and he wasn't a tiny baby. 5lbs 8oz for being 4 weeks early.

That being said, I FEEL bigger, but every time I try to get DH to take a picture, I just look like a fat blob. lol I guess I'll start posting around 20 weeks or something. (Oh my gosh, that's only 2 more weeks!)

fun foto shoot

just did a foto shoot for a friend tonite; took advantage of his being there to get some pix of me taken w/the studio backdrop @ halfway-there 20 weeks!

despite feeling huge + being post-dinner bloated, i look shockingly un-pregnant in a lot of the pix. they're the ones at the end of the this set against the white backdrop:

wow ommom, there are some beautiful shots of you in there, I esp love the studio one of you and your hubby, and the one of your upside down face, just stunning!

Ommom, you rock! Look at your with your body-lovin' self!! I am truly, truly inspired. All my from-the-front shots look unpregnant, too. It's really only the side angle that shows anything, and even then, only if there's a clear distinction between where the nursing boobs end and the pregnancy belly begins!

Here's me at about 20 weeks...

18 weeks

Although honestly I'm not big AT ALL. I can look at pics that DH took of me naked when I started working out really hard (2 months before I got pg) and I swear I don't look a bit different. Things are just more firm and less jiggly now as everything gets rearranged in there. But I was bigger with DS at this point than I am now, and I was SMALL with DS (for a large person, anyway).

i really love all these pix - esp. when there's a face 'cuz online sometimes it feels so anonymous!

Bloomingstar, your belly looks exactly the size of mine. Are you wearing maternity clothes yet or still trying to make do with the rubber-band trick?

If you are wearing maternity, where are you finding stuff that fits?

: rubber band trick? oh, that's been long gone since 3 months! I wore skirts most of the summer, but I had maternity capris pretty early on. I discovered the bella band a few weeks ago and that has worked for a few of my pre-pregnancy things if I leave them unbuttoned and unzipped all the way Around 4 1/2 months I found a pair of jeans on sale at old navy, a pair at GAP that were not on sale but fit so perfectly lengthwise that I had to buy them, and I have a few jersey skirts that can still stretch with me. I should get a couple more pair of pants, I guess, because I am KILLING these jeans--and I can wear jeans to work, so it helps. I have to say, maternity shopping, particularly for pants, has been frustrating because I just don't see my size a lot--my pants from Old Navy are x-small and the GAP were a size 2! the funny thing is, I highly doubt that'll be the case once I get out of maternity wear.

I'm a small size too, and maternity pants with the panel just don't stay up. And like you said, the standard maternity clothing stores don't really have small sizes. I just ordered more XS pants from Old Navy, so we'll see... return shipping is free.
