I'm sick of sore nipples. I've overcome several weeks without nursing baby (hospital stays on IV fluids), using and weaning from a breast shield thanks to inverted nipples that didn't pop out for a month and a half, nasty plugged ducts.. then thrush. Now he's 14 weeks old and what, more sore nipples. You have to be joking.
I did have ONE week of pain free nursing before the thrush started. This time, doesnt feel like thrush. He's drooling and has swollen gums- Ive heard their saliva while teething can cause ouchies. If this is true, is there anything I can do about it?
