Woke up this morning around 4, felt a quick little release of liquid.... wasn't sure if I'd peed myself (hasn't happened yet, but ya never know!), so went to the bathroom.... sat there for a while after I peed, still wasn't sure. Went to bed, laid there for a while, had two STRONG contractions, but only about 20 minutes apart.... got up again because DH was snoring, felt more liquid, sat down again on the toilet and it's DEFINITELY my water. I've been getting some more contractions (just starting timing them) that make me have to go into "off" (Hypnobabies) to get through them (never felt them this pregnancy like that! Definitely not BHs!), still not very close together, but that's ok... I'm letting DH sleep a bit before I wake him up. I called FIL (who I work with, who is our babysitter (with MIL), who usually leaves by 6 or so to get to work early, to tell him NOT to go anywhere), but that's it... YAY!!!!!!!!!! Baby's coming today. I'm hoping contractions really pick up.... I'm GBS+ and my midwife puts me on a sort of time limit (can't remember what exactly), and I don't want to transfer over to the hospital. We'll see!
Ok, update already.... contractions are no more than 6 minutes apart.... between 4 and 6! YAY!!!!!!!!
Ok, quick update for everyone (story and pics later!)...
Hudson Levi made his debut at 9:33 am, water had broken at 4am. Pushed for 8 minutes! Barely made it into the birth pool!
7lb4oz 20in long (first son was 7lb5oz 19.5 in long)
I feel absolutely wonderful! Oh, and the only tears are two slight brush burns, no stitches, and I can't even feel them now!!!!
