x-posted--wholesale/bulk foods?

My mom used to buy from Mountain People Warehouse and I was wondering if anyone knows of any co-ops like that out there? We would get like 10 mothers together and they would have to spend $2000 or something but they would get awesome prices and then they woudl split everything up.
Does anyone do anything like this?

Azure Standard has a food co-op although they don't work quite like that. I think they deliver to CA but I'm not sure, you'd have to check their website. www.azurestandard.com

Frontier sells in bulk and has some decent prices. I believe that anyone can start their own co-op. It is only $10 for the app fee and it is refundable, maybe even credited towards your order? I think you only have to spend $200 to get free shipping. We have a local co-op for frontier here and I order from them a lot, especially from their sale flyers.
