The nursing nurse

Cute comment from DD i just had to share.

I am in nursing school and she is used to me leaving to go to the hospital and "take care of people." Today as i was walking out the door she hugged me goodbye and said "Have a good day nursing people mommy." I laughed and said "oh no honey, i am going to be a nurse - that is a person who cares for people and holds their hands and talks to them and helps them feel better" "And nurse them??" she asked. "lol, no munchkin i only nurse you."

I assumed at some point she would ask if a nurse nurses people - but it just never came up and i figured i just had a really smart 3 year old...all the while it was just implied to her that i breastfeed patients!
