Whoo hooo! I found that show by accident. Although the one critique ( for now) that I have is that I think the rose should be given to the ladies he's NOT choosing saying something like" Parting is such sweet sorrow". Then at least they'd have a momento, don't you think?
Who do you think he should have chosen but did not? I vote for Lisa, the lawyer with the curly hair, that rescues dogs. They seemed to have a good rapport going and then he chose Rhonda instead.:
I had issues with this format at first. But then I chose not to overthink it. I need some mindless fun, sort of like Survivor with clothes on.

Shall we place a wager? I vote that Trista will put the ring through his nose; he sort of lit up when he saw her.

I keep thinking Who would do this? I couldn't take getting rejected on national tv. But he seemed like a catch! He was cute, intelligent, nice and sweet. I am assuming he makes a good living. I would definately go for him but I see this is going to get ugly. Did you see the clips from future shows where they compare who gets kissed and who gets tongue?

I liked Lisa too. I did not like that girl from Kansas. She seems slutty to me. Who talks about buying a trapeze on national tv? If he did hook up with her, what would his parents think after seeing that? Yuck. Plus she just seems cocky.

I won't bet you because I am thinking the same thing you are, that Trista will win him. I can't wait for the next episode. I taped the first one so I will have to review it to decide if I like anyone else.

Oh I am soooo glad someone else watched this.

I heard the "I am sexually open" trapeze conversation, but fail to put a name and face to it. Was that a blonde? And did you see Alex's face when Amanda walked towards him? Her and her very ample bosum? LOL Like a kid in a candy store. Oh, what about that actress woman? She's Darva all over.

Yeah, I think Amanda the wedding consultant and Trista the nurse/cheerleader will duke it out.

She was a blonde with huge boobs in a red sparkly dress (Kansas girl). I'll try to rewatch it today and get her name.

I forgot to say that I didn't like that Amber (white blonde hair). She seemed pushy, but I felt sorry for her when she was crying because she didn't get picked.

I am not sure which ones you mentioned so I watch it again and then I'll be straight.

I thought I was the only one to watch this trash, and love every minute of it! If I was to place a bet for fun I think Shannon has a pretty good shot. She seems pretty reserved, but this may be just what he's looking for! But Trista would be my next choice. Did the girl that works for Hooters get cut from the first round? Not that I thought she had a chance...

Was it just me, or did I miss the intellectual exchange between Lyneese and Alex on that gondola ride? I must have stepped out for a moment.
I was surprised, but pleased with Alex's choices this week. I was glad to see Amanda, Trista and Shannon. Cathy, Rhonda, Kim and the other one I need to learn more about.
Amy, I thought was phony. I have a theory about someone who smiles *all* the time.
So, how many weeks is this show on? How will they group the dates next week? How many will be elimidated?
Although, I think Alex should be able to take phone calls from the viewing audience, when he's in that little room of his. I have DD cups and can tell him what Amanda will look like in 10 years after 2 babes.
Oh, wait. He's judging *inner* beauty. :

Even dh was entranced. I couldn't believe Rhonda (who looks like a young Vicki from 3rd Rock), LaNease or Kathy (who were both too young for him). I was surprised he didn't pick Amy and Angelique.

I think he is a bit of a bs'er because he keeps saying girl's score points then dumps them. I wasn't surprised about Melissa at all, although I felt sorry for her.

I thought Amy came off a little desperate, especially in the first show, so that may be why he didn't pick her.

My money is on Shannon or Trista. Dh likes Shannon as the favorite, and I vote for Trista.

I do NOT like that Amanda. I know I am prejudiced by her earlier comments. I don't have a problem with someone who owns a trapeze, I just have a theory about people who talk about their sex life on national tv. I call her a bad word at my house.

Did anyone else get totally creeped out when they were in the mud bath? He said "Let's put some mud on Trista." All of a sudden I felt like we were watching porn and it was going to turn into an orgy. Why did he say, "Let's." Did he want the other girls to start mudding each other? Dh thinks he is a lot more base than he comes off (base instincts).

An Ivy League education is not guaranteed to correct a horndog nature. I agree. Notice that he lobbed the mud directly at Trista's ta ta's. I think she handled that pretty well.

Won't we all cheer if she rejects his rose?

Yeah I would have been pretty offended if some guy started lobbing mud at my boobs. : He sunk a couple of notches in my opinion with that one. And I agree he's probably not as Mr. Nice Guy as they try to make him seem. Especially since he kept Amanda. What exactly is her appeal other than really large ta ta's? :

I'm still surprised by Amy because he went on about how they have so much in common and that's really important to him. Especially that it's important to him to have an educated wife. I figured Ivy League would be a big deal to a guy like him.
And I didn't get the young one? They hardly showed them interacting at all so I was really surprised.

I can't believe I watch this crap--poor dh thinks I am off my gourd...(But I noticed him sneaking glances at the TV from behind his book)

I like Shannon, but I'm not sure the Bachelor and I have the same taste...What a rediculous show--I love it!
