Low supply/nursing while pregnant/tandem nursing?

I figure I'd just throw all this in one post. Here's the background.. Despite having ample milk with my first child, I had low supply from the beginning with ds (now 14 months). Even though I've had to supplement with formula (and in bottles..I know, I know..) we're still nursing and I don't see him stopping anytime soon. Now I'm pregnant again. I'm really really sad at the thought of losing my supply during pregnancy, as I am so thrilled to still be nursing. Everyone told me he would switch over to the bottle and leave my boobs in the dust. Has anyone ever been able to continue nursing all the way through a pregnancy? And is it possible that I could recover from this low supply business and have a normal supply with the next baby, and maybe be able to nurse them both? He'll only be 22 months when the baby gets here and I really wanted to nurse him until atleast two.
Is there anything I can do to keep my milk supply up while pregnant? Previously I tried herbs, pumping, even domperidone and nothing helped. So I eventually figured I'd leave it and just top up with formula after nursing. But if I wanted to go back to herbs, is there anything safe to take while pregnant?

Thanks for your help ladies. I feel terrible about not having enough to begin with, and now the thought of early weaning is making me miserable.

MIW,
A lot depends upon the personality of the baby. My DD1 was very needy. She wasn't giving it up for anything.

I think co-sleeping helped. Also consider: Lots of water, Healthy diet, Oatmeal, Malt (e.g.: Ovaltine).

Finally, Motherlove makes "More Milk II" for pregnant moms but check the individual ingredients. It was recommended to me by a hospital LC. I researched a couple of the ingredients and I wouldn't suggest using it in the first trimester.

Good luck.
