I'm at my wits end trying to get the stink (mildewy/moldy) out of my HE front loading Frigidaire gallery series. It is approximately 2 years old and has been great for us up until a month ago- it just started really stinking. I have always left the door open to air out between loads- so it isn't that.
Has anyone else had any experience with this? I bought a enzymatic cleaner called "Smellywasher"- ran that 3 times. Still stinks. Ran bleach (I know, totally bad- but I'm desparate) that helped for 1 day- stink came back.
Tried vinegar, Bac-Out. I have cleaned in the rubber "lip" around the drum etc. This is just totally gross. HELP!
