I was looking up info on Madhava Agave nectar trying to find where the agave is actually grown when I came across this on their website.

Quote:
Can I feed my infant Agave?
Infants under the age of 12 months should only be fed pasteurized foods or mother's milk. The pasteurization process destroys any bacteria that could harm an infant. Agave is not produced at pasteurization temperatures, and should be considered a raw food in terms of infant feeding. Agave should not be fed to infants under the age of 12 months.
Notice what's missing? Any reference to formula! Madhava rocks!
