I was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure at 26. We did an IVF/ donor egg cycle 5 yrs ago that failed, then used the frozen embryos and conceived our son (Jack 3 1/2). Last spring we tried again (new donor), got a positive result and then lost the pregnancy. I have 6 frozen blastocysts and and about to fork over MORE MONEY to try again..... and I am scared This is our last chance.

good luck to you in your next steps... when will you be doing the ET? Are you still contemplating, or is your mind made up? What is involved in the ET?

welcome to our group.

Starting today

I had my baseline sonogram today and begining testing. I am waiting (there is that word again) to hear what day I start my medication: They were supposed to call by 3 but apparently had a late meeting... sigh. Thank you for the support!

what did the sonogram show? what kind of testing? what kind of meds? Is this to get your uterus ready?

let us know how it goes!

The first sonogram

is a baseline, I started taking estrogen on Saturday. I go back tomorrow to see how my lining is developing. Once its ready to receive the blastocysts I start progesterone too and then - transfer!!!!

GOOD LUCK!!! I hope your lining becomes the perfect home for your blastocysts. Keep us posted, okay?
