Ironing spray?

I saw some Mrs. Meyers Ironing Spray online. It seems to be mainly water with some fragrance and essential oils.

Has anyone ever made this at home? I'm just worried that I'll mix some essential oil in water and spray it on my clothes and it will stain them.

Although I hardly ever iron so maybe I just shouldn't worry about it.
