I have a bunch of infant size hemp prefolds that I've been trying to sell, but now I'm thinking that I might just keep them and turn them into doublers...but I'm not sure how. I'll have a newborn in December, so I'm primarily concerned with doublers for newborn or small size fitted diapers. When my DD was tiny I used one or two flannel washclothes folded in half (two layers of flannel per washcloth) as doublers. These prefolds are two layers of hemp/cotton with a hemp/cotton terry soaker in the center. Any suggestions on how I should cut/sew etc them to make comparable doublers? I do have both a serger and a sewing machine.
