i tried to do a search to avoid asking something that is, i'm sure, already been covered, but it's not working...

i need help with stain removal for clothes (and cd's). i use charlies, and as much as i like that it's natural, it SUCKS on the stains. i really don't want to presoak with the little bottle of tide i have in my cabinet, but it's starting to look really good right now. help!

Bac out works great. Sometimes you need to use it more than once though for really stubborn things that have been sitting a while.

I don't know how it would do with the Charlie's soap, but I use a little bit of undiluted Dr. Bronner's castile soap. It really works great on grease stains and on poop if you get the spot while it is still fresh. When DD was smaller I just kept a bottle in the bathroom where I would rinse things--I started cloth with her a little later--so I really used it most on poopy baby clothes, but it worked really well on that. Maybe some lemon juice and dry in the sun before washing for the dipes too?

Ecover stain remover works great on most things - just not extreme stains like berries.
