cheap meals without eggs or cheese

Our youngest child is allergic to cheese and eggs, we just learned.
This has virtually wiped out my previous menus. Goat milk prices are HIGH, and soy cheese even higher!
If you have any recipes or frugal ideas about how to go about menu planning, we would love it!
thanks

All dairy, or just cheese? I know there are lots of cheap egg subs for baking. Soy powder... off the top of my head. I think in a lot of frugal recipes you can just leave out the cheese or egg and have it on the side for others. For example, fried rice or mastacioli (sp?)

This isn't going to help with meal planning, but thought I'd throw it out there as an option. I have one child who is very picky. In order to make sure she has enough nutrients and protein, we give her spirulina. Before she could swallow pills, I would make a smoothie with the powder (usually a spiruteen chocolate smoothie with added spirulina powder. It was green, but it tasted like chocolate. I would just put it in a dark cup so she didn't notice the color. Sometimes we would just mix it into chocolate milk. We buy it from iherb.com and use the brand NOW foods. It's way cheaper online than at the health food store. You have the upfront cost, but it lasts a while and you get so many health benefits.

My kids have been so healthy since we started with spirulina. They rarely even get colds. Otherwise, my kids mainly eat mac and cheese, noodles with flax oil and parmesean, veg. nuggets, and tofurkey.
