Wow, we don't have a postpartum forum here at mothering?
I'm three weeks out. (today--happy 3 week bday to my babe!) Anyway, apparently, my lower bowels were so obliterated during the birth process, that they've decided to altogether stop working/moving. Of course I've had bowel movements, but only w/ manual help/assistants.
Lord, I am so compacted and filled, yet I don't even feel the urge to go. And pushing, how does one do that again?
And I eat so well and mindfully--tons of fruit, oatmeal, sprouted grains, etc. What gives?
Any unobvious ideas/remedies that won't negatively affect milk? Not looking for suggestions like prunes, etc...
