Who had a sore throat after birth?

That is when I realize just how much I roared.
(I wasn't yelling thank you very much. )

Sore arms from pushing against things too.
Anybody else have after affects from coping mechanisms?

Totally (not to the sore throat, but the body parts)... and I wasn't even in labor very long!

Sore legs, back and tail bone from sitting on the bathtub surface for almost 2 hrs...

My right upper pectoral muscle was sore for a few days, and mt throat wasn't sore but it was a little scratchy.

My whole body hurt like crazy this time - ds was a bit asynclitic and I pushed so hard to get him out! We figure spending 4 hrs in the water probably utilized some muscle groups I don't normally exert, too.
I forgot about the sore throat thing. Mine was so sore after dd's very noisy birth, and it was a bit sore after Henry but I was thinking I was getting a cold I wasn't noisy exactly but did the old low noises which do hurt your throat.

The only soreness I've ever had after births was from coping mechanisms I'm thankful for it but it's funny, I never complain of a sore perineum but my arms will ache for days.

actually my throat is fine, but that may be, because I am a trained singer and instinctively 'know' how to use my voice without damaging it

But my whole body is sore from my long labor, including my hands, from the hands knees position in the tub...

I guess a c/s can't be called a coping mechanism but that wound is obviously my birth side effect that sucks most. Can't wait to be moving freely again...

I had a very sore throat for a couple days from all my roaring! I groaned so loud during the pushing stage, I'm sure that was what caused it.
My whole upper body and back was very sore also, I think it was from holding onto the side of the tub while I pushed.
Funny, I too noticed my body soreness more than my perineum!

Not had this baby yet, but after ds was born my throat was sore the rest of the day. I was told I wasn't that loud but it hurt anyway!

My knees also were really sore from kneeling on the hard floor while in the pool.

My feet were uncomfortable as well as I was kneeling with my feet flat and didn't move for over an hour.

I explained to my MW that this time I might need someone to help me move as I couldn't communicate that last time when I was uncomfortable.

Wow, you mamas who have no other complaints are lucky! I wasn't even going into that other stuff. My SPD was actually WORSE for a couple days. I literally had to have somebody lift my legs in and out of bed for the first two days. I felt like an invalid.

My MW also told me I wasn't that loud, but my throat told me otherwise. Thanks y'all for giving me company so I don't feel like the only one who probably woke the neighbors.
