So far, so great! I was tempted to buy some magazines at the library sale...but nope! I was also tempted by the going out of business sale at the movie place, but nope again! And I made a pizza from scratch! I was pretty happy with myself!

July 1st (Canada Day ): $30 for strawberries and slushie, $2.50 for a movie (we were going to use a coupon for a free one but didn't want to waste it on a cheap movie )
July 2nd: $55 on groceries and additional jam making supplies. Bought the kids some treats in there, oops! I have to learn there are other ways of saying "I : you" than with treats

I've spent nothing for the first two days in July, but I was camping so it really doesn't count. Now the hard part begins. I have to go and buy planned for birthday gifts and not buy anything else and goto the 4th of july parade and not buy stuff from all the vendor.

7/2-$105- 6 weeks of our family/homeschooling chorus + materials (the song book and CD are part of the package). I consider this one of our standard bills, since it's the one extra activity that we've done regularly for the last 2 years.

Since it was chorus night, it was also a driving day for us.

oh, we were tempted to go out for dinner tonight ... horrible hard day today ... but we knew if we did that, we'd blow our one meal out a week rule, and we need to save it for when we go to ikea this weekend. so DH made an improv meal from what we had in freezer -- not bad! no spending at all today.

Wow...I know I am later..but I really need to join this this month.
my name is Phoenix, and I am a sahm unschooling farmin Mama of 4.
I am a spender.
I do really well through the week becuase my husbands not home and we are pretty much isolated out here, other then a corner store and a little restraunt , but were about 20 mins from a major center, and I dont drive so I really dont have the opprotunity to spend....BUT....come the weekend..I like go into spending over drive! It goes totally against everything I believe in , and everything I want for us...but....wow..
so my commitment is to stop spending money for the sake of spending money this month.....I want to figure out more ways to lower our grocery bill.
Our garden is growing amazingly well, so that will help.
I am looking forward to this..

Phoenix
