I had a really tough time finding a foundation that was safe.

Jane Iredale's Dream Tint is a 3 on the Skin Safe Database. It is the lowest foundation like make-up I can find on the SSD. The rest are the powdered mineral make-up.

I'm about to try this too. I only use organic make up, but it's still not great (carmine, ew) and I just loathe mineral powder make up. endless dusty powder, ug I hate it. I'm about to order the tinted stick, concealer and that's it I think. My local Ulta didn't carry the make up, only their creams.

How dark are the cheek tints? I can't decide which one I should get for my medium-fair complexion.

eta: I have been using terra tints tinted lip balm and kiss my face tinted moisturizer. I don't think I've checked them on ewg lately though. I think they are safe. :

uh, sometimes when I reply I forget that I used the search function and am actually bumping an old thread. : Sorry, I know I read about 100% pure make up on mdc the other day and I thought I was bumping that thread!

anyway I'd love to hear how the pp past bumper liked the tinted moisturizer.

Well, Hazelnut, thanks for bumping!! This is rather timely for me. I'm wanting to get into a makeup routine and want to go all natural. I have been searching skin deep and can you believe: Jason Natural Deodorant is rated at a 10??? (I know off topic.)

About the Physician's Formula Organics---> I work in the cosmetics dept at Target, and today I found some of this opened. Well, I smelt it since I really want to know how safe this really is. Guess what? It has NO scent whatsoever. None. I was amazed. Make up has such a yucky scent to me. Anyway, I think I may try that as far as base and concealer go, but what about lips? and eyes? I don't know. I'm just fair complected. Time to go search what little make up I do have and dump it. Thanks, Hazelnut
