I think I'm having a boy because they run in my husband's family (he's the oldest of five) and I haven't been sick at all and my sis was terribly sick with both of her girls -- BUT, we've decided to wait until birth to find out!

One interesting fact about you that most people don't know: I met lots of foreign dignitaries and diplomats in my former job when I worked with a cabinet member.

Birth plans (home, hospital, UC, etc): Hospital with an OB. This will be my frist pregnancy/delivery with a doctor. My first two were with midwives. D/t insurance issues, the only place I can go is with 4 OB's. The good news is the OB that's delivering me is our close friend. He said I can pretty much do what I want, deliver how I want as long as we both are safe. Also, he has a zero episiotomy rate. So, that works for me. I'd love a homebirth but dh is a bit freaked out by the idea and refused to entertain the thought. :P


Other kids and their ages: Two boys ages 13 and 8.


Do you think you're having a boy or girl and will you find out prior to birth: Dh and I are both leaning toward girl this time. This pregnancy has been so different than the boys. We are going to find out. Next OB appt is this Thurs and we hopefully will know then.

And I am measuring 4 weeks too big and since I am sure about my LMP, there is a posibility it is twins, so in my wildest dreams I think it is a boy and a girl!

One interesting fact about you that most people don't know: I would have 10 babies if I was young enough!

One interesting fact about you that most people don't know: I was induced at 41 weeks with my son, labored for 23 hours and ended up having a c-section because of all the interventions. This is why I am choosing a home birth this time. I am really looking forward to an enjoyable experience!

Do you think you're having a boy or girl and will you find out prior to birth: I think that I am having a boy, we aren't going to find out because we want to be suprised when "himmer" comes out.

One interesting fact about you that most people don't know: I am an open book, so most everyone knows everything about me, but here's an interesting fact...I have an extra vertebrae in my spine. Yeah, I'm an alien.

One interesting fact about you that most people don't know: I was a surrogate for a couple 3 years ago.. we had twins, a boy and a girl.

Do you think you're having a boy or girl and will you find out prior to birth: I ony got a 21 week u/s and there were no definite boy parts. Also the shot they showed did look just like my older girls so we are going with girl. Though we will have a couplbe names in reserve for a boy just in case.
