I got a third degree tear at dd's birth plus a nasty graze by my urethra that was super painful. About a week ago, I thought everything had finally healed but the last few days, my tear has "opened" at the fourchette and peeing has gone back to feeling like passing broken glass.
Another weird thing has happened which is that when I wipe after peeing, I am seeing small pieces of the suture material. Thing is, I had a bladder injury after DS2 (who is 2yrs 5mo) which was sewn up and I am wondering whether the thread is actually from that hence the pain peeing or whether it's from the tear this time.
Does any of this sound familiar to those of you who had a tear? Are you still feeling it?
