Last weekend, Raina stopped breathing and appeared to have a seizure. As soon as she got her breath back, she was totally fine, so I didn't take her in. I figured if it happened again, I'd have reason to bring her to the hospital.
Monday, it happened again. We went in right away, were admitted to the paediatric floor, and spent five days while all sorts of blood tests, urine tests, an MRI and an EEG were done. Raina was discharged yesterday morning.
The MRI showed a cyst on her brain. For now, she's fine, but if the cyst starts to grow it will compress her brain and cause problems. She has to go back for more MRIs periodically to make sure it's not growing.
I am so glad she's ok for now. Mamas, hold on tight to your little ones and don't ever stop loving them. You never know how deeply you truly cherish them until something like this happens.

: Now I'm just hoping her cyst stays small
