Dr. Bronner's in carpet shampooer?

DH got me a carpet shampooer for my birthday.

Can I use Dr. Bronner's in it? Or do I need a detergent instead?

I have a little Charlie's powder. But not much at all, maybe a few tablespoons.

I've heard of using Dr. Bronners in a carpet shampooer, but haven't tried it myself.

You can use Charlie's Soap, but they recommend that you use the liquid all-purpose cleaner (like the stuff they sell for the spray bottle) instead of the laundry detergent.

I used Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds in our carpet steam cleaner. It worked fine, but did get a little sudsy. It wasn't a big deal, though.
