I crochet. Most of my projects are of the soaker/longies/shorties/skirties variety.

Hi there - crochet lover here. Been crocheting since my MIL decided that it was time to learn. Now I love it so much I have crocheted at a Chicago Bulls playoff game (back in the Jordan years), at the movie theater, drive in, in the car, on a plane, waiting for dinner at a restaurant (casual place of course), waiting for the last Harry Potter book at midnight, while in labor with my DD....well pretty much everywhere! I have tried knitting but it seems that I am not knitting inclined since I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it!

I just learned to crochet this weekend! I've tried to learn on my own and never really been able to figure it out. And then this weekend, we were visiting family at the lake, and DH's aunt taught me to crochet in about 5 minutes! I'm so excited to try something out now.

Her grandma taught her to crochet when she was 7yo and she has been crocheting for 58 years. And now she has taught me and maybe one day I will teach someone else. (Hopefully, I will be good enough one day to teach someone else.) It's such a marvelous thing! Passing along a craft.

I'm thinking I will start with something easy like dishcloths.

Add me too. I usually switch back and forth from crocheting to knitting. I love to crochet for the instant gratification. For me it is so much faster!

I've been crocheting for close to 5 years. I love it, but haven't had the opportunity to do much of it since my youngest was born.

I DO, I DO
I have been crocheting since I was a little girl, maybe the only one of grandma's grandchildren who actually sat long enough to learn. I am teaching my first class starting in August! I'm soooo excited, and a little nervous

I crochet. I knit too, but I learned to crochet first.

recently started. So far I've got a linen bag, and a ripple blanket underway to show for it. Next up- Amigurumi!

: Me too! Just longies and hats so far. I'd love to make something different, but I get stuck in ruts.
