I love crocheting but I have stuck with simple projects so far. It is SUCH a stress-release and anxiety self-med for me! I have done dozens of scarves, several small blankets, a few hats, and recently have been having fun with water bottle cozies.
However, I don't really have the mental capacity for patterns, so I just try to make them up, which is sometimes a big failure.
Knitting seems too hard for me, although I have only been self-taught so maybe that's the problem.

so what would go do next? what is an EASY project for a young child? (and for mama to help with)

many thanks,

That is so cool. Good for her! I hope I can teach my DD when they are still fairly young. Let us know what projects you find for her!

I just started crocheting and LOVE it. I had been knitting but I like to crochet more.

I crochet and have been doing more of it lately. Right now I actually have a list of projects going and the only thing that has me on hold is getting to the yarn store. I mostly buy yarn when I need it...no stash.

I started a blanket, my son talked me into creating a small stuffed robot that needs stuffing, a friend asked for a purse, my daughter a poncho, and I found a neat curtain pattern I'd love to try as I've been wanting to do my own curtains for awhile now.

Yep, crochet is my thing!

Another crocheter here! I learned when I was a little girl. I just picked it up again about a year ago and I'm loving it! Now I'm teaching myself to knit and spin my own yarn with a drop spindle.

I crochet. Right now I'm working on some baby grab balls for my baby. Type more later as I'm going to be late for work.
