Mamas, I'm at a total loss here. DD still nurses more times per day than I can count (and most of the night). The last week or two she bites me EVERY TIME. My problem is twofold:
1. Trying NOT to react. Trying NOT to physically respond. Today I pinched her and I even gave her cheek a slap (not hard but STILL)
I think that any kind of physical punishment is beyond wrong, but the reason I'm reacting like this is because
2. She WILL NOT LET GO. Nothing works. Not smooshing her face, not using my finger to get between her teeth, not begging, crying, tugging her ear, NOTHING. The more I try to get her to let go, the harder she bites.
I have no intention to wean her in the next couple of years, so I need some suggestions. I am in a very sad place right now. Every time she wants to nurse, I cringe because I know it's coming.
Please help.
