And larger than average-sized babies too, apparently.

/hijack because I'm sensitive about it and feel like I need to explain, since my prediction is so off from everyone else's:
Last time around I assumed my babe would be way more than 7 lbs because I was very healthy and conscientious about what I ate and gaining enough weight, etc. (I gained nearly 35 lbs.) And since I was obviously putting on enough weight, and she wasn't born prematurely, of course she'd weigh "average" or more even, right?
I was actually
very shocked when she came out 6 lbs, 6 oz. I thought something was wrong. Then my midwife reassured me that was a very common thing, and still a very healthy weight, because I'm a very petite person. (I weighed 6 lbs, 5 oz at birth.)
So I'm adjusting my expectations for birth weight this time, at risk of seeming like a pessimist, because my last baby was petite -- but very healthy. I'm very petite, but very healthy.

And the ultimate goal is for this one to be whatever size s/he needs to be, and be healthy. So there's my big explanation, because I don't want anyone to think I'm purposefully wanting my child to be little. Which is a ridiculous thing. Obviously.
/hijack off
