2 and a half days of labor symptoms, off to the birth center with irregular ctx. june 26. got there and was 5 cm, woo hoo! had an awesome labor, with alot of guidance from mw and nurse on getting her to turn. pain never got out of hand (unlike my hospital induction w/ ds) and after about 1 hour on my knees in the jacuzzi, got on the bed. had a 9 cm lip which mw moved during pushes-ouch- and after about 15 greuling minutes, head- shoulder stick, up on my hands and knees-had major strength at that point- and one big give it hell push and heres my 9lb girl. i got to pink her up myself with my own breath and an very happy wiht my birth center/midwives/ girl. super in love with ds/dh/new dd and life in general. those of you still waiting.....hang in there. the joy and exctasy will make it all worth it. baby girl put the nipple in her mouth with her own hand and has been nursing ever since with my milk coming in sat afternoon. babymoon has been phenomenal, now..to that placenta.
