We'll have to be super-vigilant with the spotlights now. With all the new babies arriving sometimes they tend to get lost on the second page. So everyone be nice, Emily12581 is up!

How did you discover mdc?

How are you feeling right now?

What is the one thing you have splurged on for this new baby?
Are you feeling "ready"? Or are you content to wait a while longer?

Is there anything you still need to do before the baby arrives?

How did you discover mdc? I bought my first mothering magazine 4 years ago, then my cousin told me to stop lurking and start posting about 2 years ago.

How are you feeling right now? I am feeling expanded

What is the one thing you have splurged on for this new baby? A brand new crib. We got rid of everything trying to pay for fertility treatments so we had to start fresh and the crib was a splurge especially since we won't use it much.

Are you feeling "ready"? Or are you content to wait a while longer? I am ready. I am okay with her taking her time, but I am more than ready!

Is there anything you still need to do before the baby arrives? I don't really think so. I just bought my new giant nursing bra and I think I am all set now.

How soon do you plan to have visitors after Olive comes?

Do you feel like this pregnancy has flown by or has it dragged on for you?

In what ways are you preparing your other dc for the new baby?

Do you like spinach?

Do you like the new heart jumpy guy smilie over there?

What things are you enjoying eating these days?

How many times do you have to get up to go pee in a night?

Do you have any pets?

I love your name choice! How did you come to it and was the naming process more of less challenging than you expected?

How soon do you plan to have visitors after Olive comes? I like having at least 2 weeks to recover and bond as a small family before I have visitors. I am sure people will just show up though. We are having a welcome baby party 4 weeks after she is born so we hope that keeps people away.

Do you feel like this pregnancy has flown by or has it dragged on for you? FLOWN BY!!! I cannot believe how fast it has gone!

In what ways are you preparing your other dc for the new baby? We talk about Olive like she is here. We talk about how big she will be and what she will be able to and will not be able to do. Zoe is 4 and really seems to get it.

Do you like spinach? I love it!

Do you like the new heart jumpy guy smilie over there? I think it is very cute, and suiting in many situations!

What things are you enjoying eating these days? Sandwiches, cereal, dairy queen and watermelon

How many times do you have to get up to go pee in a night? Usually I wake up having to go at least 3 times, but only get up once.

Do you have any pets? We have 2 cats, Ed and ginger

I love your name choice! How did you come to it and was the naming process more of less challenging than you expected? Thank you! We actually picked the name way before we conceived...probably 4 years ago. So, for us the naming process was super easy. It just popped in my head one day and stuck, I later found out it is a family name.

I always ask the same questions.

Do you live in the country, suburbs, or city?

Are you living near where you grew up?

What's your favorite thing about winter?

I see you have a "Go Organic" thing on your siggy.

About how much of your food do you think you buy organic?

What is more important to you: local or organic?

What are some things you enjoy doing with your DH?
I see you have a "Go Organic" thing on your siggy.

About how much of your food do you think you buy organic? I would say 90%. We try as much as possible to buy from our co-op and local farmers who grow organically. This becomes tough in the winter, but I'd say 90% is a good estimate

What is more important to you: local or organic? I try to do both, but like I said local is very seasonal in minnesota. I think organic is more important than local for that reason.

What are some things you enjoy doing with your DH? We like watching minnesota twins games, vikings games, sitting by our fire pit talking, going to music shows, art stuff like painting, etc...

Have you ever been sky diving? What is the most exciting adventure you have had?

Bath or shower?

Are your cats the spastic kind or do they sleep 23.5 hours of the day like mine does?
Have you ever been sky diving? What is the most exciting adventure you have had? I hate adrenaline! I have really low blood pressure and doing anything that raises my heartrate makes me pass out. So, none of my adventures are thrilling I guess you could say. I am a spontaneous person though!

Bath or shower? I prefer baths, but a nice shower once a month or so is nice.

Are your cats the spastic kind or do they sleep 23.5 hours of the day like mine does? Mine sleep all day and play all night! I have a rag doll type cat who will let you do just about anything to him and he could care less.

I've heard of women bringing photos with them to their birthing times. Will you have any photos with you and if so, who of?

This question has become popular, so I'll ask it again: do you believe in ghosts/spirits and have you ever had any kind of supernatural experience?

I've heard of women bringing photos with them to their birthing times. Will you have any photos with you and if so, who of? I was thinking of bringing a picture of my holding my first DD right after birth as motivation, but I am unsure whether I am going to.

This question has become popular, so I'll ask it again: do you believe in ghosts/spirits and have you ever had any kind of supernatural experience? I am a christian and believe in angels, but do not believe in ghosts. I believe demons exist, but I have never encountered anything.
