Favorite online stores?

I finally got the balls (no pun intended) to clean out my stash this weekend - it was full of three years of nasty acrylic and novelty yarns and I hadn't been introduced to the beauty of an LYS yet and didn't realize if I actually wanted to knit something, I needed more than one skein of it. So having trucked three bins of bad yarn through four states, it's been gifted out of my house - which leaves me feeling very yarn naked.

Now, I need to rebuild my stash, with good, solid, reasonably priced, workhorse yarn that's just always good to have around.

So what are your favorite online yarn stores (so I can begin stalking sale bins) and favorite all-around good yarns?

Yarns I'm thinking of are things like Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece, Cascade 200, etc, nothing special, just good yarn to have on hand.

I think it depends on what kind of projects you are into.... I have a stash of peace fleece- at least enough for a sweater for me and a couple of toddler/baby sweaters. I also like cascade 220, and lamb's pride worsted. Have you looked at Elann or knitpicks? I am in love with shine from knitpicks. it is beautiful!

What Iowaorganic said. Except for the shine part, I find it too slippery. I love peace fleece and have a bunch stored. I've also got WOTA and Cascade 220 hanging about.

I like knitpicks! Very reasonably priced, good selection and good quality IMO! I especially love the andean silk. Their cotton yarns are nice and soft, too.i like cascade 220 too.
