anyone else already talking names?

Dh and I are already discussing names, in all fairness... he wants to be able to name this one... so I am trying to let him. He wants Issac for a boy or Carlee for a girl. What are you guys thinking of naming yours?

We decided on names already. Isn't that sad?

Cameron Olivia

or

John Cameron (but we'd call him Jack)

I'm betting we'll end up with a Jack.

Tossing around Verity for a girl (it means "truth")
Not sure about a boy's name, but today I heard the name Rhett and it really struck me. I like it. I'll have to look it up and see what it means.

Speaking of looking up names... what websites do you all use to find out the meaning of a name? There are several out there and some of them give completely different meanings!

Jason Paul for a boy (FIL wanted to name DH Jason, so it's a way to honor him. Paul was DH's uncle.)

Katie for a girl...we haven't figured out the full first name or a middle name, though

We've already decided on names too. Girl name is Susannah Catherine and boy name is Elliot Thomas (not 100% committed to that middle name yet). We've also been tossing around Oliver and August as boy names but I think we're pretty settled on Elliot. Last time I had lots of girl names I loved but this time I like the boy names way better.

I mentioned to DH that we needed to start talking about names and he laughed and told me I was crazy to start thinking about names so soon

We won't pick a final name until the LO is in my arms...so I guess we have a little while...

I am trying to decide whether to recycle the other names we had chosen for DS or not...

Our top girl's names were Audrey Joen and Keegan Alexa and boys names that lost out were Escher, Sebastian and Oliver

Well... I am thinking names already, but not talking about them.

Charlotte Elizabeth for a girl
Cole Edward for a boy

This one is going to be hard to name because dh and I don't agree on any names. My favorites for a girl are Lydia, Lucia, Helena, Sylvia, or Zaria. For a boy we actually both really like Grant. I also like Howard and Walter.

Actually, not really thinking.

We can always come up with girl names...it's the boy names that are hard. Since we don't do U/S, we never know, and I never pre-name the babies anyway...we wait until they come out

What we've done the last three times (and likely again now) is over the next 37+ weeks come up with a "maybe" list...I can tell you the girl names are old, classic ones (Clara and Evelyn are my dds)...and boys? Well...it's a very short list that has changed every pregnancy - and it took three days after ds' birth to actually name him (Liam)

We have Rhiannon or Rhianwyn for a girl (middle name Ellen) and we are toying with Finn for a boy. We like the welsh/celtic names!

I have a google document spreadsheet with name choices for girls and boys including middle name choices that DH and I have gone through. I will probably add a few names to it throughout the next few weeks as well. DH won't really pay attention to it till after my 20 week ultrasound, when we will go through it again and hopefully narrow it down to one or two names.

Our girl's name from when I was pregnant with ds:

Eleanora Marie (Nora or Nella for short)

and this time for a boy:

William Clayton or Mathias Paul

Ezra James for a boy - it was one of the discarded names from when we were pregnant with our twins.

No clue for a girl, but probably something with 2 syllables and less than 7 letters since we have a long last name Family names are always middle names, I'm hoping to use Agnes after my Grandmother or Priddy after my other grandmothers maiden name.

Ooooh, I like Priddy!

No boy names that we can agree on yet, but I love the name Clara for a girl, after Clara Schumann.

Despite the fact that we know 4 or 5 little girls who are Cy's age with the same name, I really like Lillith and then we would use my grandpas mothers first name as a middle name.

As far as boy I am not really sure. I think we might use my maternal grandfather's last name as the baby's last name though because he (grandpa) is the last one in our family with it as a name.

I woke up this morning thinking of 'Davena Rose', but dh has already made it clear that he doesn't want to use Davena. *sigh*. We probably won't come up with names until a lot later, though. We didn't name ds2 until a few days after he was born.

Well, if it is sad, count us gloomy! We picked Maggie as a girl's name a L-O-N-G time ago, like 6 or 7 years ago! We just it, and not as short for something...just Maggie. However, we still haven't picked a middle name. That's a tough one.

We like Elroy for a boy even though it sounds so old. It was dh's grandfather's name, and he was such a cool old dude. But it doesn't go well with our last name, so that may be a tough one to figure out.

We have 100% decided on names, we actually had names picked out before we even got married HAHA.

First Girl: Greysen Elizabeth
If we have second girl: Elliott Madison (we will call her Elli)
First Boy: London Michael
If we have a second boy: Holden Alexander
