Yep -- at least, I think that's what it is. She usually gets them if I lay down right after eating.

Hehe!

Weebu gets the hiccups occassional. DS had them ALL the time, it seemed. I was expecting a very hiccupy baby, but he hardly ever had them on the outside!

For sure my LO gets the hiccups all the time. Depending on how low he is, I can feel them right into my rear or cervix! Almost annoying! LOL

Yes this one has them a lot. DD did too both in utero and for about a month after birth.

All of my babies have had hiccups multiple times per day starting between 20-27 weeks. And apparently so did I when I was a baby. Maybe it's something anatomical.

It is so cool when the little has hiccups!

It is such a strange feeling, but a really nice feeling.

*raises hand*!

For some reason I thought they'd lay off or stop later in the pregnancy.... nope! I'm 38 weeks now and the babe has had serious hiccups more than three times today already! It's also been seriously squirmy all day though, so maybe it's just drinking a lot of amniotic fluid by accident. :/

I've had a weird day in terms of baby movement though. My DH (for other reasons) thinks I might be going into labour. But with the baby moving, hiccuping and kicking this much, I don't see how that could POSSIBLY be the case. Don't they slow down a little before birth?

I think just talking about it is contageous! My LO JUST started hiccuping!

She has been hiccuping for a few weeks now and gets them all the time for a long period of time. I loved getting them w/ ds1 and watching my belly bounce and it was disappointing when I never got them w/ ds2. They are so much fun

Yup. I've a hiccoughing baby often. i usually announce it to DH as well.. Baby has the hiccoughs again! although not right now, yay. heheh.

yep, dd had the hiccups all the time, and she's still a hiccup-y kid at 2.5yrs old! this LO gets them quite frequently as well. i tell DH it's just so he'll know they're his kids! he gets the hiccups in the middle of the night probably about once a week. i feel bad for him, but it's so annoying to be bounced out of a sound sleep by DH when he's laying there hiccuping away!

Yep!

3-5 times a day most days.

Still cracks me up .

Yes! My little one has them all the time... at least three times a day! I remember my son having them, but nothing like this little lady... she has them every evening no matter what. It's so funny. Sometimes my whole belly jiggles with them, sometimes only I know she has them, and I kinda have this little rhythmic vibration where her head bounces off my pelvis. I enjoy them unless I'm trying to sleep... then they are a little frustrating.

Constantly! While I was in labor with her, they had the monitor on my belly and we were hearing the heartbeat nice and strong. Then all of a sudden we heard a thump. I thought she kicked the monitor. Then there was another. And another. We all started cracking up because she had hiccups during labor. She gets them at least 5 times a day now.
