I'm just wondering how well they work.

(I got them off Ravelry)

nak

I've done the second one. It was great to knit, but I find it too narrow between the legs to use, and it pulls strangely on DS.

Hmmm...that's the one I'm doing now. Narrow between the legs...I'll be watching for that.

Thanks

I did the WHW wrap. It's basically useless. I keep meaning to frog the whole think and use the yarn for something else.

I've done the WHW wrap many times. Twice for us and about 5ish other times. I really like them. They aren't made for kids who have any amount of body to them though. DD1 (the first time I made it) has no butt or hips. At 3 she can still wear a size 3 diaper if the need arose. My DD2 is built thicker and they don't fit nearly as nice on her. I think the trick with these is adding extra rise. As written it's really only a perfect fit with a contour (we used Kissaluvs contours at one point). With the extra rise though it fits perfectly over our prefolds/prefitteds.

I've also found that if you think you need a small go for the medium. The front can be pulled tighter if need be so it'll last longer and you'll get a better fit. That said, I don't size up.

I use the WHW pattern pretty much exclusively. It can be hard to get a snug fit but once you get the hang of how it pulls, it's a breeze IMO. Plus they're so quick to knit, I can usually get them done in the car. They're also quick to dry, I can wash one, and use it later that same day.

So it sounds like I just need to continue with making this one and see how it works out!

I haven't made either, but I just have to say how cool the knitted fitted is. May have to make one this winter and try it out.
