PP bleeding

Geez, will my body just make up its mind?!

It is totally gone for two days, and then starts up again. It has been at this almost gone stage for about a week. With DS I only bled for a week and a half, but I think that is relatively short. How long is "normal"?

That sounds really normal. I am doing that too. My MW said she has seen PP bleeding even up to 6 weeks! But I don't think that is "normal". She did mention Angelica root tincture as helping with "cleaning out the uterus". I probably will try it if it ends up lingering a really long time.

Normal for me seems to be 4-6 weeks. This time it's much reduced due to the c/s, but I definitely can go a day without anything and then go through 1-2 pads/day (especially when I'm more active).

Do you link bleeding more to higher activity?

Mine lasted a full 6 weeks with DD. I am pretty excited to be out of Depends at this point.

Mine was 12+ weeks the last 3x. (ugh!!) I'll be ecstatic about anything shorter!!!!

This is exactly how mine is at almost 4 weeks pp. I do blame it on being overly active some days. I am WAY out of the take it easy stage...I hope it ends soon!

I am 24 days PP and finally out of panty liners as of yesterday! This was my longest PP bleed- it was only 2 weeks with the other two.

Well, my first pg I bled for a full 8 weeks. This time I'm almost two weeks pp and, like the pp said, just glad to be out of Depends! I'm still bleeding quite a bit, and heavily if I am active (like if I lift 3 yr old DD). So I think what you are experiencing is pretty well within the range of "normal."
