We just butchered chickens, so we have a TON of chicken in the freezer. Helps to cut down on the grocery bill, but it requires a little more creativity so we (I)don't get sick of having the same food all of the time.
DH works from home a couple of days/week, so we try to have the big meal of the day for lunch on those days.
Wednesday 7-23
Lunch: mac & cheese for the kids, leftover burgers for me and DH
Supper: Greek Salad with leftover grilled chicken breast
Thursday 7-24
Lunch: Brats with buns, raspberries,
Supper: Egg Salad Sandwiches, carrots
Friday 7-25
Lunch: (pack lunch) Ham/Turkey Sandwiches, grapes, cashews, carrots
Supper: BBQ Beef Sandwiches (cook beef roast in crockpot), salad
Saturday 7-26
Lunch: waffles with fruit sauce, scrambled eggs
Supper: marinated chicken on the grill, rice, salad
Sunday 7-27
Lunch: eggs, toast, fruit (bacon?)
Supper: pizza
Monday 7-28
Lunch: (pack lunch) PB&J, fruit, carrots, string cheese
Supper: Roast chicken with potatoes
Tuesday 7-29
Lunch: mac & cheese, peas, fruit/ leftovers
Supper: soup, grilled tomato & cheese sandwiches
Wednesday 7-30
Lunch: Egg Salad Sandwiches, fruit, carrots, ants on a log?
Supper: Chicken & Black Bean Burritos
Thursday 7-31
Lunch: Homemade Pizza (1 cheese, 1 pineapple, 1 green olive)
Supper: Lima Beans & rice
Friday 8-1
Lunch: (pack) PB&J, fruit, carrots, etc.
Supper: chicken tacos, salad
