Does anyone have a recommendation for a chiropractor in the Columbia, MD area? I'm almost 36 weeks and pretty sure that baby is still breech.

Thanks!

My chiropractor in Ellicott City did the Webster technique for me, and also showed me how to get DH to help me do it at home:

Dr. Tracy Ball

I second Tracy Ball. She is very thorough.

Somewhat of a trek, but I've been going to a fabulous chiropractor in Rockville - Mariella Young

She's certified in Webster Technique (and apparently has had fantastic successes at getting breaches to turn), but she also does children and babies.

I'm sure you've already seen it, but the ICPA website has a search feature.

Good luck!

i am currently seeing Tracy Ball and can't recommend her enough. after the first visit my leg pains were gone. i like that she really makes sure that you know what is going on with your body. she spent about 30 minutes with me my first visit just explaining what was happening before she even started adjusting me.

Thanks everyone! I have an appointment with Dr. Tracy Ball this afternoon. My baby is currently breech at 36 weeks so here's hoping I can get him to turn soon.

Yes, my baby did finally turn!! I also did moxibustion so I'm not sure what actually made him turn in the end. He turned right before I was about to attempt an external version (at about 39 weeks). We were so thankful.

I had the Webster Technique performed on me by a chiropractor team in Annapolis and it helped me so much. Not only did it help me physically, but it helped me to feel like I could help the process along and made me feel a lot more calm and accepting of my body. My baby was transverse and didn't seem to want to turn. A combination of the Webster Technique, handstands in the swimming pool, and time did the trick and our little guy turned just in time. I don't know why, but I hadn't been in the pool until this late point in my pregnancy and it felt wonderful! This was something my chiropractor suggested and it was a great thing for me - I would definitely suggest it if you haven't tried it yet. Handstands were actually easy even though I was huge, given the buoyancy the water provided!
