OP, if you do get talked into an induction, you can call it off, too. Sure wish I would have known that. I continued right on into the OR and now I'm fighting for a VBAC... trust me, you don't want a scar on your uterus unless absolutely necessary. Big baby is NO reason to induce (though I admit that I bought that line, too).

I am sure it has been mentioned, but first time mom and inductions drastically increase your chances of c/s.

I would really vote NO!
