My first contraction was at 6pm and I just knew it was the start of real labor. I never had any doubts or questions about it.
But maybe it's also because I never really noticed any bh (maybe some tightening once in a while but they never hurt).

I never had any pre-labor signs with my last.

This time I have felt slightly crampy for about a week.
