Deodorant?

Thread Starter
I have been using a crystal stick type deodorant for over 3 years with reasonable to very good results. I occasionally would use a Toms of Maine on sweatier days, but it was making me very irritated.

I broke out a couple of weeks ago in a complete irritation rash that required an intense application of hydrocortisone type cream to heal, and it's still "hanging in there." I have not used any deodorant for well over a week. I hate it. I definitely noticed an adjustment in how much I sweat, but it's summertime, it's hot, and I need something!

I have tried baking soda only. It burns my skin.

I'm very nervous to try my crystal stick again. It worked so well for so long I am very disappointed as I just bought 4 to have for a long time online. This rash hurt so bad and I was around a lot of people.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

My husband and I both had the exact same experience. We successfully used crystal stones for a long time but eventually developed irritation and eventually pits of fire. It was miserable. We both used nothing for a few days, then tried the liquid version of the crystal stones. This works great and after numerous years of use, we both are stink and irritation free. He uses a spray and I prefer the roll on version. You can buy this for $3 at either Wal-Mart of Target.

Good luck!
