Does anyone know if a fitted diaper with all flannel layers will be absorbant enough to work well? I am using the poopockets pattern. Thanks!

I would think with enough layers, anything would work! Seriously, yes, flannel makes great fitteds.

I have a few all flannel fitteds and they work really well. I use 6-8 layers in the soaker area and an external soaker of 4-6 layers and it works well and dries well with the rest of my diapers.

I love my flannel fitteds. They're on the baby under PUL covers and under woolies. Either way they work great!

I agree depends on the layers and how many times washed as well!

Oh my gosh yes.

I used flannel fitted for a very long time and I still make them to sell. Some dislike it, I still stand my ground in the world of organics and say I really like it.

My store-bought AIO dipes are all flannel with a PUL outer layer, so I would say Yes.

Thanks, I am glad to hear all the good things, it is really inexpensive making these out of flannel. They are cute as a button too!

So am I getting enough layers when I cut 2 pieces of flannel for the poopockets pattern, and by the time I have folded these 2 pieces in the middle, this is right??
