I do think so. Something pretty modest, that is sort of halfway between underwear and pajamas, is what I am envisioning.

I can only speak for myself, of course, but for me, as an adult wearing tye-dye in large pieces feels awkward and strange, but small things like undies, pjs, or socks are just right.

Toddler dress with accent leggings. Lets say a dress with mostly blues with brown accents on the chest or something. Then brown tie-dye leggings.

Cotton grocery bags.

Oooh, grocery bags are a great idea!

GREAT ideas, Tilia!

AO, I'll see what I can find like that. Your point about large tie-dye stuff for adults is very well taken.

Something like this would be awesome. Yoga or lounge style pants and camisoles.

Camisoles in general are a good idea, I think.

Also, how about beach towels?

I've got a few pairs like THIS and I live in them (and my new enwrapture skirts) all summer!

I agree. And how cute is this camisole?
mmmhhhhmmm. I like yoga type tops in tie dye. Like a camisole but with a bit more support.

Kids backpacks would be cool too.

I had another idea. A diaper bag/changing pad combo would be nifty in tie-dye, as long as it was a single or more muted colors. Personally, I'm not too terribly into the rainbow look.

I think it would be cool to have a lamp shade or curtains dyed..like for a funky retro room

What about vintage/thrifted slips? I think they would look weird with tie-dyed hearts or something, but would look pretty with your free-form style. (And I love the shirt you sent for Anna ages and ages ago...she wears it all the time! .)

Cool idea on the slips! Mostly, though, I wanted to mention that if you want to show off your kid in the tie-dye, email me with a photo at dyetyke@gmail.com. I've got a blog where I post photos (with permission, obviously) of people enjoying the tie dye.

That would be totally cool--I know I can do curtains, I'll have to experiment to figure out a lampshade plan.

Great idea!

The yoga tops are a good idea, too. Again, it'll take some experimentation because I'm not sure how lycra (and other fibers like that) will take the dye.

Everyone's ideas are AWESOME! Thank you! If you have others at whatever point, bring 'em on!
