I haven't myself-but I heard some saying they thought it was like that sham wow stuff in the infomercials...it absorbs great but when the baby moves it all comes out.

Well, I got mine in the mail this week and just did a side-by-side, very unscientific test comparing similarly sized microfiber and zorb. Microfiber kicked zorb's butt. And, I have to affirm that it might release fluid with movement because it sure did wring out easily . I am using it to make some dipes out of old tee-shirts, so no big investment at least. And, I might use it to make some pads for myself?

I have some (bought a sample), and I don't think it's much like the sham wow stuff. Actually, it's kind of hard to describe, it's not like any other material I've dealt with, my best description is it's like someone took a ton of dryer lint and compressed it into a fabric! I dumped some water on it and it absorbed and held the water, anyway. Yes, you could squeeze water out when it was completely soaked, but you can do that with any fabric; when not completely soaked it appeared to hold the water.

Anyway, I'm sandwiching it with some flannel to make snap-in soakers and doublers, on the theory that if it sucks it'll be easy enough to swap in soakers/doublers made with other materials. Nobody currently wearing diapers here to test it with, though! That has to wait until October.

Edit: One thing I do love about it is it doesn't fray at all - soooooooooooooo much easier to cut than microfibre, which I find leaves nasty little bits all over everything. The Zorb seems to be made out of tightly pressed fibres, so it cuts really cleanly and holds its shape.
