HOLA MIS AMIGOS.

Ok, that's most of what I remember from 5 years of Spanish. Well, that and where's the bathroom, where's the beer, where's the beach, and I don't speak english??? I'm good for a trip to Mexico though....

Leo is sooo happy to be home. He is soooo thin and his meower is broken. Prolly too much howling to contact us. He sounds like a kitten meow.

He's back on his favorite chair, the glider and slept with dd1 last night and she was soooo excited. She had her first accident in bed in FOREVER bc she didn't wanna wake up all the way and scare him away again. It wasn't much...a big leak more than a pee....

Lilah LOVES him. He poked her with a nail under her eye the first day back bc right now she is faster than he is and she cried and cried but we washed it up right away and put a salve on it. She now stays about 18 inches away and just quivers.....purses her lips, looks at me, claps and makes a billy goat sound....it's hilarious.

It's just amazing he is home after all this time. And without a mark on him to boot.....no scratch, nothing.

Sleep: It's up and down here. I slept so well for the first time in forever last night. I slept hard. Lilah slept with her back curved into me most of the night with her hand on my forearm that was sticking out from under the pillow. We breathed together and I smelled her sweet head and her baby breath that amazingly most of the time still smells like newborn breastmilk breath. How lucky am I??? So I woke up and felt great. I am dragging a bit now though.

Forestry: OH NO! I really hope the check is in the mail and am happy that his new clients love him....it won't make it all better but it sure has to help. What a pain. I HATE trying to collect money from ppl...... BIG HUGS for the computer. I've lost pictures from when dd1 was super tiny and I miss them. all the bath pictures and the outdoor nakey pictures. Jealous of all the land. I grew up on land like that with beautiful views and would love to live there again with my girls. Which is funny bc I couldn't wait to get outta there when I was 13.

Wendi: for the back. I was in a pretty bad car accident in 1997 and it messed up my lower back pretty bad and my vision....10 years later and I now have peripheal vision back but it's depth perception really didn't come back.....it sucks. My back spasmed big time a few months after Lilah's birth.....My mom still had her TENS unit from forever ago and I borrowed that and it helped so much!!!! more

Katie: I went and voted. The fitteds look sooo yummy and squishy....They are out of my $ range but I bookmarked it for a friend who wants to try cloth......the site looks great!! The mods don't know what they're missin not having you as a GA. I knew about them but thought the mods just picked instead of someone sayin they wanted to be one.

Heather: Sorry about the biting. Lilah nipped me the other day and I took a deep breath in really fast and she cried. I didn't mean to scare her but OUCH?! She mainly bites when she's fallen asleep and her jaw clamps down....

Jeanine: Ugh on the swim lessons. Something similar happened with dd1 last year so I just yanked her. I talked to someone about it but nothing changed. Hope it all works out bc I know the schedule of the classes was perfect.

Beemama: :roflmao: nursing a puppy what a visual. I recently saw a pic online of a mama dog nursing a baby piggy that looked sooo soft...she's very protective of it.

Sabo: It's like he's never left...like he was gone for a few hours. We just need to fatten him up. He's more tabby cat friendly now rather than Siamese standoffish. Love him just the same. I look at him all the time and am filled with such ears Lilah chomps my shouder and her sisters knee....She did her sister's knee for the first time yesterday and dd1 laughed and said, "Are you a vampire baby????"

Ishy: LOVE the pea face. Where is the faire in Ohio??? I worked for a year at the Adam's Mark in Buffalo.....

Green: Oh no on your swimming class. That's awful. I'd be livid if someone did that to one of my girls.

Veggie recipes: My vegan friend is making a list for me of her favorites. Most are quite yummy. When she gets it to me, I'll pass it on.

Texas: Sorry about the nursing strike. Dd1 did a few of those and all I heard from everyone, esp my mom was, "Well, it's time you weaned her anyways".....blah blah blah Which makes it harder. Do you need some Fenugreek?? I have way too much. Falicia had a good point with the Baby Book....that section about the stikes is also in his Breastfeeding Ans's book. Hope it's going better today.....Dd1 did it more when she was getting bakc teeth bc her latch had to change so much and it frustrated her big time. Maybe that's what's going on.

WW: Who's doing it again? What's the start up cost????? Is it easy???

Ok, I started this 2 hours ago. I need to go put laundry away, make birthday invites, and Lilah needs fed. She's playing with my phone.

Wendi - Can you go to a chiro? I was hit by a car when I was 19 and nothing has been the same either, the only thing that mildly helped aside from lots of PT is going to a chiro. I hope you're feeling better soon and able to get some sleep

Beemama - What is it with mobility and wanting to practice at all hours of the night? I'm wishing for lots of sleep for all of us!

Sunshine - I'm so glad he's home! He must be so happy to be back, I'm glad someone was kind enough to take him in for you until you could get him. I'm going to do a grand-opening sale of sorts with a discount code and I'm going to have a regular discount on bulk orders. The market pretty much dictates how much we sell at based on cost of materials/hourly wage, there are a few who will drop their prices to almost nothing and they don't make a profit but that ends up hurting everybody unfortunately.

I am so : with Andrew right now. He was up around 4am and kept waking Liam up because he was going in and out of the bedroom, I don't know if he forgot something or what but finally I shooed him out of there. Liam is finally aware of him leaving and coming home from work so he cries when he sees him leave and then is all over him once he gets home. All next week he is working 4pm-12am so he won't be disturbing him as much hopefully.

Katie: Oh, I know.....I've been lucky enough to buy all my stash for both girls used and in EUC.....I do have a wonderful part of Lilah's that was gifted to me.....we use it every day. I'll prolly buy something during the sale tho......she needs to own something yummy fer her snooty behind....Grrrr on Andrew. Dh does the same thing. My car accident above was me being hit by a car too

jamison's been sick, or something. starting on tuesday, she was *really* cranky and clingy, but she didn't nap until late, so i thought that's what it was. but a nap didn't help. tuesday evening she had a fever of 100-point-whatever. she slept like crap tuesday night. she was super cranky and clingy all day yesterday, and still with the low fever. she hardly ate anything (she nursed fine, but she usually eats a good amount of food, too). she slept like crap last night, and had the fever. this morning she was cranky and clingy and low fever again, but this afternoon she's nice and cool, not cranky (despite being woke up from her nap by her sister and playing by herself not touching me :. she's still not interested in food though. i have no idea what it is. no mouth sores i can see. she could be teething. she's been stuck at 7 teeth for like a month now, that 8th one has been *right there* for like a month now. it could be molars moving around back there. she doesn't really want me looking in her mouth. but she busted out those first 7 teeth in like four weeks. it was just one right after the other, and she had a hard time sleeping at night, but she was no where near this cranky or clingy, so i don't think it's teething. plus, her temp was a bit high for teething. but i have no idea what it is/was. thankfully it seems to be going away. it's been a hard couple of days.

swimming lessons - oy. i wish i lived in a bigger town so i had a choice. they're not terrible (now that ds is staying out of the 11 foot water) but they're not how i'd do things. they expect the kids in level 1 to be able to dunk their heads. shouldn't they have to work up to that?!? is it just me?!? anyway, my mom is coming up the week after next, and she's going to teach "swim lessons" for my kids for a week. i'm hoping she can ease dd1 into putting her face in the water, and i'm hoping she can teach ds how to float. seems to me floating is important, but they don't seem to be teaching that. my mom goes to the y, and she's been telling a lifeguard/swim teacher there what they've been doing in swim lessons here, and he's like : i'm glad a "professional" has the same opinion i do, but it totally makes me wish i had another choice. it's this or nothing. neither one are *good* choices.

I would go to the chiro but I need to find a new one and the start up fee is prohibitive. I finally got a nap today and got woken up because my 10yo wouldn't help at all!!! I had to get up and hang out with Eavan for a bit. I was steamed. Now I have to wake up Dahlia to take Kaija to class. Dahlia found a cup of nasty apple juice today so I am hoping she doesn't get super sick from it.

I didn't get hit by a car but the car I was in flipped about 10 times. I was wearing no seatbelt so just flopped around inside like a ragdoll. It messed up my back permanently.

I am so grumpy right now. :

I just want to go to bed and sleep and sleep.

Off to go wake the baby!
