Snap Store Grommets?

Does anyone who use the snap press from the snap store use the grommets they sell?
I've got some corset making friends who want to know how the grommets look. We are kind of confused by the 3 part thing.

I've got the snap press and didn't even realize they sold grommets- I wish I would have seen that- then I might not have bought a grommet press separately.....

(edit: we are really looking for pictures of the back of the grommet to see if they split or roll.)

I started using these a few months ago, and I absolutely *heart* them. They don't split in the back, they roll perfectly, and they're self-piercing so you don't need to punch the fabric first. I just wish she carried other colors, I want hot pink and purple ones SO bad!

So far, I've really only used them for decorative and light tightening purposes, so I can't say if they'd hold up to the rigors of a corset designed for tight-lacing, but for my little faux corset tops, they work great.

do you need the metal die set to use the grommets or can I use one of the others?
