My EDD was June 9th, and I never would have thought that I would find myself in the July DDC. But since the baby in my belly is calling the shots, and has decided that it is not ready yet, here I am.

Hey there, welcome, I'm in Tucson too! It was nice to have those clouds roll in today wasn't it, we even got 3 minutes worth of rain where I am.

Sorry you are still waiting, but I guess at this stage, Baby IS calling all the shots!

Hope you won't have that much longer to wait, I think I would be out of my mind by now.

Though I was "due" June 27th, and I'm not as far along as bodhimom, I'm still waiting as well so I'll dip my little toes into your DDC pool and hope the water isn't too cold. I should have joined this DDC long ago knowing that my EDD was somewhere between the end of June and the beginning of July, but I've been stubborn, and I was hoping to go early. Guess not

Aww, June DDC moms... . Don't feel bad; I am actually one of you, too. My "due date" was June 25th, but I knew my baby would likely arrive in July, so though I occasionally lurked there, I joined here. I learned to do that from experience, - in 2005, my son was "due" July 22nd, but ended up being extracted almost two weeks later in August. By the time I was able to post a few days later, everyone had all but abandoned the July DDC.

Bodhimom, how did the June 9th date come about? From your other posts, it really seems as though that date might be off.

Halfasianmomma, the average for first time moms is 41w1d, so you might still go "early" by that standard, .

Hey! Welcome to all the June club!

July is not such a bad month to have a baby (so long as you have not gone mad from waiting!).

We are a good group, and unfortunantly, many have already started popping! I just hope I am next! (but not likely)

Welcome! Just think of it like having a fresh start here--you can be some of the first to go in July! I'm probably going to be in your position in a few weeks--my EDD is July 29, so I'm pretty sure this is going to be an August baby. I've been straddling both groups all along, so we'll see....

Hope those babies make their grand entrance soon--they're just fashionably late!

I'd love to "go" that long, but my doc has told me that we'll be "talking about inductions" tomorrow, for my 41 wk appointment. : If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be so stressed out right now.

I would just politely tell him that you don't want to discuss induction (if it's not something you're comfortable with). He certainly can't force you!!

I agree with the others, he can't really *make* you be induced. It's your call mama!!

And welcome, I like to look at this as your "due in club" and not necessarily your "born in club" and everyone is welcome here....right girls!!!!!
